Having a vacuum for your Boston Terrier is crucial. While Boston’s do not shed much, over time, it will accumulate. We lived in an apartment for nearly five years with Bella before buying a vacuum.
Looking back that was a little gross 🙂 We swept the carpets of course, but sweeping does not get all the tiny hair up. We decided to go ahead and splurge an buy a vacuum that would last a while and work great.
We have owned this very Dyson for over four years now, and I highly recommend it for your Boston Terrier. Yes, the Dyson is expensive, I know, but it lasts a really long time and works exceptionally well.
The brand we bought was the Dyson DC28 Animal Vacuum. This vacuum has been great at sucking up Bella’s little hairs in the rug. However, this model was first debuted in 2009 and is no longer offered by Dyson. We had bought ours in 2014.
The new upgraded model like mine is the Dyson Ball Animal 2 Vacuum. While I have not used this upgraded version personally, I know it will be better than the DC28 I have so you can’t go wrong.
