He moved with his furever family to Philadelphia, PA where he spent nine months a year. The remaining three months were spent at the family’s vacation home in Cape May Courthouse, NJ.

Murphy spent his life making others happy. He was a giving, affectionate, and smart Boston Terrier. He was full of energy and always made people laugh. He loved to have his photo taken and was even better in front of a video camera.

He was a diagnosed insulin-dependent diabetic for 6 years and never gave a bit of trouble to anyone giving him shots. He was strong in routine and always knew everyone’s schedules.

He greeted everyone at the door upon arrival and often walked with them to the door as they left.

He was affectionately known by many names;

  • Murphy McMurphster
  • Mr. Murphy
  • Stinky
  • Stinky McStinkster
  • Diabeto
  • Mr. Needles
  • Murph.

Whatever the case, whatever the name, he always loved 100%. He loved car rides, lying in the sun, cuddling in bed, and going for walks.

He was a big fan of Kong toys and had many throughout his life.

He is survived by his brothers and best friends Dan and Chris and by his parents Bill and Karen.
