Scout’s Memorial
(07/13/2005 – 10/05/2020)
By: Lloyd, Owosso and Okemos Michigan
Scout rescued me in early September ’05. They told me that he and his littermates were taken from a mill operation. He was not breed standard in appearance, but he could steal/melt just about anyone he met.
Upon opening the crate the pups were in, he just came on over while his brothers played and climbed into my lap, rolled over showing me his belly and giving me that look of, “OK, I’m here, take me home.“
He was always with me when possible. When I had to travel without him, he stayed with my parents. And I had to call or video chat every day I was gone, so he could hear my voice. Or else a bit of a tantrum followed.
I miss the snuggles, I miss his attitudes, but most of all, I miss my bud.
