Abigail’s Boston Terrier Memorial

Losing a Boston Terrier is like losing a member of the family. The sorrow you feel is a natural process of grieving.

Abby’s Memorial

I got Abby from a rescue organization in Minnesota. For seven long years, she was in a cage. She was a very neglected and abused breeder dog for a horrible puppy mill in Iowa. She was very timid and shy.

Abigail was just the sweetest most innocent little creature I had ever met. From day one she had zero aggression, if you put your hand near her food bowl, she would do nothing, if a dog snapped at her she would just walk away.

She never really knew how to play with toys, occasionally she would pick one up and shake it once or twice, then that was it. She was very emotionally broken down when I got her, she slept non-stop for about two weeks.

I spent a lot of time with her and over the years, and I was constantly amazed at how she was coming out of her shell a little bit at a time. She still had lots of nightmares and was very cautious. But she really started to love her life with me and sometimes she would be a wild happy little baby.

When I lost her, she took my whole heart with her.

I will never be the same without her.

Love,

Rodney

Abigail was born on January 11th, 2008, and passed away due to euthanasia which was due to a blockage in her intestines on May 22nd, 2021.
