Losing a Boston Terrier is like losing a member of the family. The sorrow you feel is a natural process of grieving.
Cuca’s Memorial
Cuca was our Beautiful Boston.
We flew from Mexico City all the way to Nashville, TN. to get her.
She lived with us all her life in Mexico and a few years in Los Angeles.
She was always by our side. Happy… when she arrived, when our son played and was only 3 years old. When we were eating, she stole our food. When our little girl was born and she was jealous enough to pee under her cradle. When she was always there, silently but also when she was loudly snoring.
At 3 years old she had 7 puppies and was a champion Mother. She delivered all by herself with no help (just a bit on the last puppy) after 13 hours of labor!
She was kind and hardly ever barked. I thought at some point she was mute, but she also made this sound almost as if she wanted to talk. She could look you in the eye and you would know what she needed or wanted.
She spent her last year with us all together in the Covid isolation and maybe this is something we can be grateful for from the pandemic experience.
She spent her last months with her family by her side all the time, we could play, snuggle and kiss her all day and literally take her last breath in our arms.
We love her and remember her dearly and will be missed forever.
Love,
Alejandra W.
Cuca was born on April 1st 2006, and passed away at the age of 15 years old due to a heart attack on June 18th 2020 and she also had a brain tumor.
