Romeo’s Memorial

(09/17/2009 – 06/09/2020)

By: Johanna from Georgia

Romeo, the first time I saw you when I took you from a bad situation at only five months old. I instantly loved you.

That love grew as we went through so much together. So many have come and gone from my life, but you were my constant. You loved me so much, and you were my joy.

Romeo lived a very healthy life, and I took care of him better than I ever took care of myself. I was sure I was going to have him for much longer than I did.

March 2020 is when his 1st massive seizure happened, he spent time hospitalized at the veterinary hospital, and I prayed for more time. My prayers were answered because we had two beautiful months that he was almost back to his usual self, but it wasn’t meant to last.

On June 8, he had a seizure that destroyed his little brain, and I had to say goodbye.

I miss you, and in your honor, I rescued two 4 legged babies.

What keeps me going is the certainty that you are still with me and will see you again one day.

Te Amo my Romeo.
