The Rescue Ranch was founded in 2011 to rescue Boston Terriers, Pugs, and “Buggs” (Boston Terrier and Pug mixes).

The founders started the rescue after working a hoarding case in which 35 Boston Terriers, Pugs, and “Buggs” were rescued.

Unfortunately, more than half of these dogs died due to the tight animal control quarters they had to be kept in.

With their already poor health, complete lack of vaccinations, and many of these dogs nursing or newborns. The odds were already against them, and many contracted Parvo and died.

The Rescue Was Formed Out Of Love And Compassion

In response, the Rescue Ranch was formed to provide aid for dogs who were dumped or found at the hands of animal hoarders.

The Rescue Ranch has 17 indoor kennels with plenty of space and acts as an emergency short term shelter. They focus heavily on rescuing special needs dogs, such as dogs who are paralyzed or have neurological diseases.

Cost Of Adoption

Their adoption fees range anywhere from $100 to $375 based on age and purebred status.
