Cost of Adoption

Depending on the health and age of the dog, the adoption donation is between $100 to $500.

How To Adopt From This Rescue

Be prepared to discuss what you are feeding your adopted dog. Old Dominion is very against diets heavy in corn and corn byproducts, as many Boston Terriers are sensitive to these ingredients and they can cause gas and hyperactivity.

This shelter has seen many Boston Terriers that are labeled as “behavioral problems” change overnight with a healthy diet.

Old Dominion will not adopt out to a home that plans on feeding their dog over manufactured, unhealthy dog food.
