All the photos in this article came from the classic book written by Edward Axtell. In Axtell’s book published in 1910, he describes the creation of Boston Terriers, their history, breeding practices, and more. The book is titled, “The Boston Terrier And All About It: A Practical, Scientific, Up To Date Guide To The Breeding Of The American Dog.”
