#8 Cramming Into Tight Spaces

Boston Terriers love to find the tiniest crevices and squeeze their little bodies right inside. You may see your Boston Terrier squeezing between furniture, cushions, or even people. They just seem to like being in small spaces, especially when it involves cuddling between their owners.

10 Things Only Boston Parents Would Understand

You can rest assured that if you and your partner are snuggled up on the couch, that your Boston will soon be joining you. Your Boston will want to be as close as possible to its humans, even if it means there is no wiggle room.

Some of this may be linked to their ancestors sleeping in dens, meaning that tiny spaces make them feel comfortable.

#7 Human Tendencies

Be sure to watch out before you lay down in bed or sit down on a blanket. Boston Terriers love to crawl under blankets they find and will sleep there for hours. Don’t be surprised to come home to find your beloved friend hogging your comforter or taking a blissfully warm nap on the couch.

#6 They Tend Burp Out The Wrong End

One of the more surprising things the breed is known for is little toots. Boston Terriers are a gassy breed that loves to let out farts at some of the best times. They aren’t ashamed of tooting around the house when you have friends over and will even give you a guilty look from time to time after they do it.

While this may sound like a downside to some, it’s just plain funny how they go about it. Some will even look you right in the eyes as they let out a mighty fart. This gets even better when they are sound asleep and start tooting away.

#5 Licking Fetish

Uncontrollable licking tends to occur when Boston Terriers are a bit younger and still learning the world around them. You will find everything from your throw pillows to spots on the floor soaked. Boston Terriers tend to love to sit around and just lick certain areas for minutes on end.

Many will grow out of the licking phase as they age, but it’s plain cute to watch while it’s going on.

#4 They Comfortablize Any Situation

We can all relate to just not being able to get comfortable when it’s time to lay down. Just like us, Boston Terriers seem to have an issue getting comfortable sometimes. Instead of tossing and turning, though, they will literally pick their bed up and move it around your house to find the perfect spot to snooze.

If they want to bask in the sun, then you will find the bed in the sunniest spot in the room. On the other hand, if they want a bit more darkness, they will move the bed far away from the room’s window. Sometimes, they will even move their bed just to be closer to you.

#3 They Will Let You Know Where They Are While They Sleep

Boston Terriers like to sleep, and they like to sleep hard. This means that you will often hear a lot of snoring coming from your companion. Many owners will be able to locate their pets just by following the sound of their snores.

#2 Comfort Doesn’t Look The Same For Everyone

Boston Terriers really love their comfort and their sleep, so it should be no surprise they love to find just the right angle. Boston Terrier owners are used to finding their dogs in some of the strangest sleeping positions. This includes half-hanging off their beds or even sleeping with all four paws in the air.

When your Boston Terrier is sleeping, there is a high chance you will get a social media-worthy pose from them. Just remember to turn off the flash, so you don’t wake them up.

#1 Built For Speed!

Boston Terriers have one quirk that is very common among this lovable breed, zoomies. It’s no surprise for a younger dog to hop up and start zipping all over your home at full speed. This can occur at any time of day and even in the middle of the night.

Watching Boston’s run around at full speed is just as cute as it sounds. They don’t even need a toy to keep them entertained; they are just happy to dart around the room. Keep in mind that this is another trait that does seem to calm down as the breed ages.
